The NUSTAR Rewards is the official loyalty program of NUSTAR Resort and Casino (NUSTAR) open to qualified applicants who must be 21 years old and above. Only one membership per person is allowed.
The Terms and Conditions stated herein establish the scope, rights, privileges, and benefits as well as the conditions, liabilities, and obligations of membership and participation to NUSTAR Rewards. NUSTAR may unilaterally change these Terms and Conditions to reflect changes and updates in NUSTAR’s policies including local and national regulations.
The following are not eligible to become members:
Government officials connected directly with the operation of government or any of its agencies and their Immediate Family Members
Members of the Army, Navy, Air Force, and the Philippine National Police and their Immediate Family Members
Holders of Gaming Employment License issued by Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) and their Immediate Family Members
Persons included in the list of PAGCOR's National Database of Restricted Personalities and under PAGCOR and NUSTAR's exclusion programs
Employees of NUSTAR and their Immediate Family Members. It shall be the responsibility of NUSTAR’s employees to inform their Immediate Family Members that they are not eligible for membership.
The applicant must fully accomplish the application form issued by NUSTAR. Any act or form of misrepresentation or false declaration may be a ground for refusal, suspension, or revocation of the membership, as may be applicable upon the sole discretion of NUSTAR.
Failure to complete the requirements and provide the information requested on the application form may result in the refusal of the application.
As part of the verification and security procedures, the applicant's photo shall be captured upon application which will be printed on the NUSTAR Rewards card.
The applicant must present a valid ID upon application for verification purposes, as follows:
For local applicants, an original and valid government-issued ID with photo and signature
For foreign applicants, a passport and/or Alien Certificate of Registry (ACR) ID card
LOST CARD, MEMBER PIN, REWARDS, POINTS
NUSTAR shall not be responsible for any lost or stolen card. In case the applicant wishes to have the card replaced, applicant must personally file a request for replacement at any NUSTAR Rewards Counter. Member is required to present a valid ID for verification. NUSTAR has the complete discretion to accept or reject the request and may charge a fee for the issuance of a new card.
Members shall create a Personal Identification Number (PIN) in a prescribed format. This PIN shall be required for a secure digital access to NUSTAR’s promotions and services. Members shall not disclose the PIN to any other person and should change the PIN from time to time for security reasons.
NUSTAR Rewards card including its benefits and entitlements shall be for the sole and exclusive use of the member and is non-transferable.
Accumulation of points, rewards, discounts, and benefits under NUSTAR Rewards is based on the scope, criteria, and calculations reasonably established by NUSTAR. Member acknowledges and accepts that under no circumstances shall NUSTAR be obliged to disclose the same.
NUSTAR has the sole and absolute discretion to determine any controversy, claims, questions, and disputes arising from any mistake or error in judgment in the accumulation of points, rewards, discounts, and benefits. The determination of NUSTAR shall be final and conclusive.
Points may be redeemed for the corresponding items or services at various accredited outlets in NUSTAR and its partner merchants.
Items and services for redemption are subject to availability. The required points shall be deducted from the member's account for every redemption. Conversion of points to cash shall not be allowed. Member will be required to enter their PIN at the time of redemption. Additional proof of identification may be required for verification purposes.
NUSTAR or any of its partner merchants reserve the right to refuse any request for redemption or to recover any reward redeemed if there is a reasonable basis to believe that the points used by the member were fraudulently or erroneously recorded.
In order to be upgraded to a new tier status or maintain a current card status, a member must earn the required points within the period prescribed therefor. NUSTAR shall have the absolute discretion to determine, change, amend, renew, upgrade, and downgrade the tier status of a member without prior notice and/or assigning any reasons regarding such status update.
Points are valid for one year from the date of earning. The unused points contemplated in this provision shall be forfeited by NUSTAR without need of prior notice to the member.
A member who redeems the corresponding points, rewards, discounts, and benefits under the program, shall be understood to have read, acknowledged, accepted, and agreed to be bound by the Terms and Conditions of the accredited merchant respecting the redemption. Thus, any dispute, claims, conflicts, discrepancies, and inconsistencies pertaining to the redemption shall be resolved exclusively between the member and concerned merchant in a manner consistent with said Terms and Conditions.
NUSTAR and its affiliates do not warrant and accept no responsibility with respect to NUSTAR Rewards. The program shall be deemed void and/or may be amended if so declared or required by a competent authority, applicable laws, or regulations.
TERMINATION
NUSTAR may terminate, revoke, and cancel membership/card at any time without need of any prior notice to the member under any of the following circumstances:
Violation of any Terms and Conditions of NUSTAR Rewards
Failure to perform any of the duties, obligations, or covenants as provided herein and/or in the membership card
Providing false or misleading information or representations to secure membership and/or points or rewards
Offensive or undesirable behavior while in the premises of NUSTAR
Causing or consenting to the use of the membership card by third person, unauthorized person, and/or ineligible personalities/entities
In any case, NUSTAR in its sole and absolute discretion reserves the right to terminate the membership/card during the term of membership or within the validity period of the card without any cause. In such event, all rewards, points, benefits accumulated shall automatically be forfeited in favor of NUSTAR. Termination of either membership or card necessarily terminates the other.
Membership cards are owned by NUSTAR and must be surrendered unconditionally and immediately upon request of NUSTAR.
OTHERS
NUSTAR reserves the right in its sole discretion to change the Terms and Conditions regarding points/rewards, amend the tier and point system, grant of rewards, and termination of membership. These changes shall be posted on NUSTAR’s website and a member’s continued use or availment of the program after the posting of any notice of a change in the Terms and Conditions shall constitute to the member’s acceptance to be bound by any such changes. It is incumbent upon members to periodically visit NUSTAR’s website to review the current terms. The availment of the program after the effectivity date of the updated Terms and Conditions will constitute the member's agreement to the updated Terms and Conditions.
Any disputes, claims, discrepancy, and complaints on the Rewards, Tier, Point System, and membership will be decided by NUSTAR at its sole and absolute discretion and such decision shall be conclusive and final.
Any other language translation of this Terms and Conditions may be provided for the convenience of the members. In case of any inconsistencies between the English texts and the translated versions, the English version shall prevail.
By using the card, the member hereby acknowledges to have read, understood, accepted, and agreed to be bound to the Terms and Conditions thereof, which Terms and Conditions may be unilaterally changed by NUSTAR from time to time, without prior notice.
The member expressly allows NUSTAR to send notices or other communications through email, SMS, telephone calls, registered or express mail, and other communication line unless advised otherwise in writing. Such advise shall be effective or deemed to have been given by the member if duly signed and by hand-delivery to NUSTAR Rewards Counter. These notices and communications may include information about our product and services, response to your queries or proposals, complaints, updates on products, services, regulations, events, programs, and promotions and other marketing activities.
By applying and becoming a member, the member acknowledges to have read, understood, and consented to the collection, use, and sharing of their personal data in accordance with NUSTAR's Privacy Policy, which is published at www.nustar.ph.
